1. What is your background in the translation industry?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

As Mirora Translation<\/a> we have been offering our services as one of the leading companies in the industry since 1997. We showed our determination to grow by opening up to the world with our Ireland\/Dublin office in 2006 and the USA\/Texas\/Dallas office in 2016. Today, as a global translation company with over two hundred local\/foreign translators and business partners, we continue to offer professional solutions to our clients\u2019 translation, localization and language consultancy requirements with our offices in three continents.<\/p>

2. In which languages do you offer translation services?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

In addition to English-Turkish language pairs, we provide services in more than forty language pairs related to English with our corporate partners who are native speakers of the target language at international standards. Like us, these partners are professional translation companies whose priority is quality. We offer accurate translation and localization services in every language and field of activity that our clients need.<\/span><\/p>

3. Is there a confidentiality agreement in the translation services?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Yes, a confidentiality agreement is absolutely necessary for the translation services. Privacy is one of the subjects that we remind our customers on all occasions and value the most. There is a confidentiality agreement to sign with Mirora about the subjects such as protection, storage, and destruction of, and sharing confidential information with third parties. We also do not conduct any business with our subcontractors without a confidentiality agreement.<\/span><\/p>

4. Do you provide technical translation?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

We have been providing technical translation services for over twenty years. Technical translations<\/a> , which require clear and understandable sentences and are usually product- and service-oriented, are not open to interpretation; proper terminology and jargon must be used. At Mirora, we work with translators\/editors who are experts in their areas and have full knowledge of industry. We can create memory and term lists for our clients thanks to the advanced technology we use, and therefore we offer consistency in technical terminology and accurate translations.<\/p>

5. What is a sworn translation?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Sworn translation<\/a>, or certified translation, means translations signed and certified by a sworn translator. These types of documents are usually requested by private companies. Persons who graduated from relevant departments or can provide sufficient documents to prove to the notary that they have enough knowledge of the specific foreign la\/a>nguage to translate is awarded the authority of a sworn translator by swearing in the presence of a notary. Sworn translators take the responsibility of the translation officially by signing the translated document.<\/span><\/p>

6. What is the certificate of oath?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The Turkish citizen translator who will officially perform translation works applies to the notary with documents showing that they know the source and target language. By reviewing these documents, the notary comes to a conclusion at its own discretion, and has the translator sign the certificate of oath. The translator takes an oath to translate both languages objectively, completely and accurately in the presence of the notary. Notaries are not accreditation agencies for the translation profession, and they do not administer exams and similar procedures for translators. They make a decision only based on the documents presented to them.<\/span><\/p>

7. What is a notary certified translation?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

A notary certified translation, also known as a notarized translation, is a translation that states that a document has been translated by a sworn translator in accordance with the source text and is also certified by a notary. The sworn translator signs each page of the source and target texts of the translation, and then the notary certifies authenticity of the translator\u2019s signature.<\/p>

8. How long does it take to deliver written translations?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Every translation company may give different information about delivery times of written translations. Delivery time is evaluated depending on different factors such as the type of translation, difficulty level, language pair, workload at hand, and the format of the source text. Here at Mirora, we provide a quality management system, in which all business processes, including stages of analysis and preparations prior to translation, and the tasks of translators\/editors are defined in detail. In this system, which operates smoothly from quoting to delivery, the daily word count that translators and editors will translate, edit and proofread can be determined at the beginning of the work. Depending on the area of specialty, the difficulty level of the text and the format of the source and target texts, a translator can translate 2500-3000 words on average daily (in eight hours of work) while an editor can redact around 5000 words. Mirora do not demand more from its team. Some companies or individuals may offer faster delivery times.
