Most of us have heard the words \u201ccertified translator\u201d a time or two, but few of us can come up with the job description.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, what is a certified translator?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A certified translator is a professional title given to those who have proven their proficiency to a notary after graduating with at least a bachelor\u2019s degree from the department of translations and interpreting of a university.<\/p>\n

Could I become a certified translator if I didn\u2019t graduate from the department of translations and interpreting?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Yes, you can! <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The first step to becoming a certified translator is to graduate from a university\u2019s department of foreign languages or foreign language teaching.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who have graduated from one of the departments stated below can apply to the notary with their diploma to become a certified translator.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
